About Corrective Eye Center – Cleveland Ophthalmologist
What would you like to know about Corrective Eye Center?
Corrective Eye Center (CEC) is the leading private Cleveland ophthalmologist practice in the Greater Cleveland area. Founded in 1985 by Samuel M. Salamon, M.D., CEC has helped over 70,000 patients with their glaucoma and cataract conditions.
Our independent, private practice is strictly limited to ophthalmology – we are cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment specialists. We work with all Greater Cleveland optometrists. Therefore, after we address your eye condition, you return to your optometrist for continuing care.
Your Results and Comfort are Corrective Eye’s First Priority
Vision is your most precious sense. And properly caring for your vision is our top priority. When you visit CEC, you are diagnosed by Dr. Salamon, Dr. Louis, or Dr. Shafran, not by a technician. Our doctors use the safest, most effective medical and surgical equipment and procedures to get you the best possible results.
If your treatment requires surgery, we provide a “No Hassle” surgical suite, which is less expensive, more personable, and requires less of your time than a hospital (many patients return home in less than two hours). Corrective Eye Center’s staff is available to counsel you through this process and answer any of your questions.
Our recent patient surveys have shown you want as much information as possible about your eyes – how they work, proper care, eye disorders, and treatment options. At each of our Corrective Eye Center offices you will find:
- Written materials about your eyes to help answer any of your questions
- Educational videos play in our patient waiting area so you can see and hear additional eye health information
- Our doctors will answer any additional questions about your condition or treatment
- Our experienced and certified ophthalmic technicians and assistants are ready to help you with your eye care questions
Corrective Eye Care Offers Emergency Eye Care
