It’s time for our Cleveland Eye Specialists, 2013 is right around the corner, which means time is running out before your health insurance deductible will reset.
As an aside, a deductible is the amount of money you must pay out-of-pocket before your health insurance company will cover the remaining costs. Do you know how much you have spent out-of-pocket towards your deductible this year?
If you have used your insurance at all in the past nine months, then there’s probably a pretty good chance that you have already met your annual deductible, and if not, you are probably close to meeting it. In less than three months, that deductible will reset to $0.
In other words, pushing off your eye exam until next year means you may have to pay more out of your own pocket for anything you need as a result of that exam (i.e. eye surgery). However, if you book an eye appointment by December 31st, and you have already met your annual deductible, then you can save money because your insurance benefits should cover any additional costs.
So why wait? Schedule your eye exam at one of our Corrective Eye Center locations near you to meet with one of our Cleveland eye specialists today.
