Botox and Dysport/ Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation
What is Botox?
Botox™ and Dysport™ are both composed of Botulinum that can be injected directly into muscles of facial expression to help treat wrinkles.
Where do you inject Botox™ and Dysport™?
When injected with precision into the appropriate muscles, Botulinum toxin reduces or eliminate wrinkles that occur with aging and partially result from muscle contraction. Our extensive knowledge of facial anatomy allows us to expertly use Botox™ and Dysport™ to achieve your desired goals.
How long do the results last?
Botox™ typically takes effect 36- 72 hours after injection with full results usually achieved by one week. Both Botox™ and Dysport™ last for approximately 3-4 months.
How often are injections necessary?
Patients may prefer to get Botox™ or Dysport™ injections every 3-4 months, as soon as the temporary paralysis wears off or they may wait longer. It’s up to the patient’s preference.
Dysport is used for the following:
- Vertical lines – between the eyebrows
- Horizontal lines – forehead
- Crows feet – sides of eyes
