Premium Eye Health Starts with You
Detecting and treating eye diseases early is vital to protecting and preserving your vision.
In the early stages of eye diseases like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration or cataracts, there are no warning signs or pain. Often, by the time people recognize problems with their vision, it is already too late to restore the loss of vision.
Request a FREE Eye Health Screening
A Vision Screening can help determine if additional medical care is necessary but does not constitute an actual eye exam. During your free eye health screening the eye care specialists at Corrective Eye Center will test your visual acuity and perform a glaucoma test.
Visual Acuity is how well you see a symbol from a specific distance. For example, to have a visual acuity of 20/20 in your right eye means that you can see the smallest symbol from 20 feet away that the normal eye sees at that same distance. Visual acuity of 20/40 represents that your eye sees the symbol in 20 feet that the normal eye sees in 40 feet.
A Glaucoma Test is also performed during your free Vision Screening and will measure the pressure inside the eye. The normal range is 12 to 20mm Hg. If your result is outside this range, it is recommended to see your eye doctor, or the eye doctors at Corrective Eye Center for more thorough Glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
