Perry Younger, M.D., is an ophthalmologist at Corrective Eye Centers, serving patients in Cleveland, OH. He practices true comprehensive ophthalmology, including the treatment of eye conditions ranging from oculoplastics, glaucoma, dry eye, various eyelid disorders, and cataracts.
Dr. Younger grew up in Plymouth, MN and then attended college at Indiana University-Bloomington, where he earned a degree with honors in biology with a minor in psychology. He then moved back north to Minnesota where he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis.
Dr. Younger completed a Transitional Internship Year from the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Perry finished his training at the Combined Program in Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama – Birmingham. He then made the Pittsburgh area his home with time spent at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Younger has practiced in a wide array of settings giving him broad exposure to various disease states across all cultures and demographics in the U.S. He has lectured in India on a variety of topics in ophthalmology. In his free time, he enjoys road biking, backyard birding, and studying to become fluent in German.
